Morgan is crawling! FINALLY!

Well, she did it! Morgan finally learned how to crawl. Her first movements were on Thursday, 5/15 but she has been improving more and more everyday. It's been so easy with her just sitting in one spot playing but now our world is about to change. No more legos, pennies, toy guns and every other little thing the boys leave around. This should be interesting!

Morgan's 1st Birthday

We had 55 people over on Saturday for Morgan's 1st birthday. The weather was much colder than we would have hoped for, but it was still a perfect day! What a sweetie Morgan was all day. Thank you to everyone who joined us for her special day. Enjoy the pictures!

Latest Pictures of our Angels!

Hello everyone. I know, I know....... I have too many pictures of the kids on here. But, I can't have so many cute ones and not share them with you. We have had a wonderful past couple of days now that the weather is finally improving. On Sunday, we spent the day at Great America. Gavin finally got up the courage to ride the Triple Play and the Lobster again. (Of course it took some bribing with cotton candy!) Carson is so brave with all the rides. He is now riding by himself on most of the them! Morgan even enjoyed her first ride- the little boats while sitting next to Carson. She couldn't stop ringing that bell and just loved it! After Great America we went on our first bike ride this year and had Morgan in the bike trailer. She did ok with it, but wasn't a big fan of the helmet.

Yesterday, we had a picnic dinner at VanPatten Woods and spent the beautiful evening Geocaching. The boys are getting really good at finding the "treasures".

Only 4 more days until Morgan's 1st birthday. I am 99.99% sure I am going to ball my eyes out. My little girl is growing so fast. She is so close to crawling (finally). I am hopeful it will happen before the weekend so she can show it off to 50 of our closest friends and family at her party. I am praying for decent weather for the big event. Please- no rain.

Enjoy the new photos.

Please take a moment to open the link below which will lead you to the Chicago Sun Times article that was in Sunday, 4/27th's paper. It is an interview with my 1/2 brother Jason talking about losing our Dad last march to Cancer. This article was such a great tribute to my dad and I want as many people to read it as possible. Thanks for taking time to read it.

Gavin turns 4!

It's hard to believe Gavin is 4 years old! He has been officially upgraded to the new booster car seat which is a real treat for all of us! What a big boy. At 4 years old, Gavin is extremely smart. He knows all of his letters and sounds, is great at rhyming, and just started writing his own name.

We celebrated Gavin's and Jordyn's birthday together earlier this month and then shared a party with cousin Jacob too which was fun. On Gavin's real birthday- Monday, 4/14th, we went to MC Speedway in the mall for Gavin and Carson to race cars. Gavin loved it and won the "Piston Cup". We had dinner that night at Ruby Tuesday's- Gavin's favorite restaurant and he was surprised with a big sundae there to celebrate. His favorite presents were his Better Batter Baseball, his big wheel and his Lightening McQueen toys. Happy Birthday Gavin!

The kids had a blast during their multiple egg hunts. I will hopefully be adding another post soon with pictures of Gavin's birthday. I can't believe my baby boy is 4! Princess Morgan, your birthday is coming up next!
